Coastal School Ministries is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to bringing the Released-time program to middle and high school students in Horry County, South Carolina, and beyond. Released-time Bible Education is time set aside during the public school day when students with parents permission may leave the school to attend off-campus Bible classes. The ministry transports students to a host facility (usually a church) and provides a qualified teacher with a firm grasp of the Bible to teach 5 days-a-week throughout the school year. Freedom Center works to provide the highest quality spiritual and academic education in a Christ-centered environment in partnership with the faculty, parents, and community through traditional and diverse instruction. They also provide discounted food through the Angel Food Program, not only for those that need it, but for any others who appreciate deep discounts on quality groceries. Fresh Brewed Coffeehouse is a Christ-centered ministry based in the heart of downtown Myrtle Beach at 933 Broadway Street. It is a non-profit ministry which reaches hundreds in the Grand Strand and has been doing so since 2002. It is open six days a week and provides a place where discussion of the Gospel of Christ is comfortable and compelling in a non-threatning manner. Habitat for Humanity--Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere - from all walks of life - to develop communities with God's people in need by building simple, decent, affordable houses, so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which God's people can live and grow into all that God intended. Helping Hand of Myrtle Beach is a crisis intervention and referral agency whose mission is to provide assistance to those in need in our community. Helping Hand provides food, rent and utility assistance, gasoline, local and long distance bus tickets, prescription medications, diapers, hygiene items and referrals to other appropriate agencies. Promise Keepers / Ignite Men of Horry County is organized to serve men from every spiritual, ethnic, economic, and social background by communicating the life- Streetreach Ministries is a non-profit Christian Corporation with sixty beds that provides emergency shelter and supportive services to men and women throughout the Grand Strand area.
